Terms of service

Tightband is sold by Nolan Consulting LLC ("we"), 55255 Fallow Rd, Pacific Junction, IA 51561, USA, help@tnolan.ai. By making an account, buying a plan or buying a plug-in you agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; your account is for one person. You need to be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (or have a parent or guardian agree for you).

What you get

A free account opens the riffs marked free. Pro opens every riff in the library for as long as your subscription is active. We add, improve and occasionally retire content; if we remove something substantial from Pro, we'll tell you first.

Billing

Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; if you cancel before it ends you aren't charged. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change for future periods, with notice by email before your next renewal.

Prices are in US dollars, and US sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. In the EU and the UK, checkout charges in euros or pounds, and those prices include VAT.

Canceling

Cancel any time from Billing in the app. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. If a Pro charge is refunded or disputed, the subscription is canceled and Pro ends right away. See the refund policy.

Everything + 1 year of Pro: automatic renewal

Everything + 1 year of Pro is one purchase: the six plug-ins (Amp, Boost, Doubler, Room, Stutter and Angle Grinder) to keep, and a Pro yearly subscription with its first year paid. You pay $139.99 today (€153.99 or £125.99 including VAT); the launch price is $99.99 (€109.99 or £89.99 including VAT) through 11:59:59 p.m. Central Time on November 8, 2026. There is no free trial: the paid year starts the day you buy.

One year after you buy, Pro renews automatically at $68.99 a year (€75.99 or £62.99 including VAT, plus US sales tax where it applies), and again every year, until you cancel. Before you pay, you agree to this renewal with its own checkbox, and checkout shows the renewal amount. Cancel any time, online, from Billing in the app: canceling stops the next renewal, you keep Pro until the end of the year you paid for, and the plug-ins stay yours either way. We email you a reminder before each yearly renewal, and if the yearly price changes we email you before the renewal it applies to. If you already have Pro, this offer isn't available to you; buy Everything on its own instead.

Launch prices and bundles

Everything (the six plug-ins) is $99.99 (€109.99 or £89.99 including VAT). Its launch price, $69.99 (€76.99 or £62.99 including VAT), and the Everything + 1 year of Pro launch price above end at 11:59:59 p.m. Central Time on November 8, 2026; after that the list prices apply. If you already own some of the plug-ins in Everything, you can still buy it while it costs less than buying the ones you're missing separately; otherwise checkout points you to those plug-ins on their own, so you never pay more for something you already have.

Using the music

The riffs, tab and recordings are licensed to you for personal practice inside the app. You may not download, extract, copy, redistribute, resell or reuse the audio or tab, or use them to train machine-learning models. Recording yourself playing along for personal social posts is fine; please don't post the backing tracks on their own.

Plug-in licenses

When you buy a Tightband plug-in (the Amp, a pedal, or a bundle such as Everything) you get a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use it, for as long as you like, on computers you personally use. Your license file carries your email address; please don't share it. The license isn't transferable.

Everything your account owns works on up to 2 computers at a time. You unlock a computer by clicking Activate in the plug-in, which gives you a license file for that computer only. To move to another computer, deactivate one from your account, any time; you can do this up to 3 times in any 30 days, and after that we'll help by email. Once you deactivate a computer, you must stop using Tightband plug-ins on it and delete its license file. Licenses are checked offline, so we can't switch a computer off for you.

With a free account you can try each plug-in free for 14 days, once per plug-in per account, on the one computer you start the trial on, with nothing to pay and no card. A trial doesn't count toward your 2 computers. The trial license stops on its end date; the plug-in then works as a demo until you buy it.

Lost your license file? Sign in with the email you bought with and click Activate in the plug-in again. If you can't get into that email anymore, write to help@tnolan.ai.

Audio you make with the plug-ins is yours, for any use, commercial included. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer or extract the plug-ins themselves or their impulse responses, except where the law allows it anyway.

Updates to the plug-ins you own are free.

Plug-ins are digital content delivered as soon as you pay. Before checkout you ask for the download right away and acknowledge that, if you're in the EU or UK, your 14-day right of withdrawal ends once the download starts. Our own 14-day refund (see the refund policy) still applies.

If a purchase is refunded or disputed, your license to use what it bought ends: we stop issuing license files for it and you must stop using it and delete its license file. Licenses are checked offline inside the plug-in, so we can't switch off a copy that's already installed and unlocked; using it after a refund breaks these terms. If a dispute is decided in your favor, the license comes back.

Acceptable use

Don't try to get around the paywall, scrape the service, share accounts, or interfere with how it runs. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Practice at sensible volumes and take breaks.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; we'll post the new date here and email you about material changes. Questions: help@tnolan.ai. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA. If you live in the EU, the UK or another country whose consumer laws protect you, that choice of law doesn't take away those protections.
